A little about the owner of our company:

     He received his electronics training in the US Navy’s Nuclear Power Program. He served twelve years as a Nuclear Electronics Technician on submarines. He operated, maintained and repaired electronic equipment, which controlled the nuclear reactor. After the Navy he went to technical school and worked for an electrical contractor. Twelve years ago, he received his Master Electrician License and started his own business as an electrical contractor. Ten years ago, he became very interested in alternative energy. Alternative energy appealed to him because of the more technical aspect of the work and the benefits it provided to the environment. Ever since then he has installed numerous solar systems and wind turbines. In 2006 he received his NABCEP certification and in 2008 he became Solar Thermal Certified with the State of Maine. In 2008 he started Maine Solar and Wind, LLC. to focus strictly on alternative energy.
